Kelmer - Director
Michael Simon Kelmer was elected Vice President of the Illinois
Polygraph Society by his fellow state examiners and was also
appointed Chairman of the Legislative Committee in 2006. In
2007, Mr. Kelmer was re-elected to serve on the Board of
Directors for 2008 and 2009. In 2010, Mr. Kelmer was selected to
testify on behalf of the City of Chicago and the Chicago Police
Department as a Court-Certified Polygraph Expert. Mr. Kelmer is state licensed in
Illinois, Indiana and Iowa as a Forensic Psychophysiologist and
is also a Certified Law Enforcement Polygraph Examiner. Mr.
Kelmer holds advanced certification from the APA and is
qualified to conduct clinical polygraph examinations for PCSOT.
Mr. Kelmer has successfully completed specialized knowledge
training at the United States Secret Service with the ACFE and
is a recipient of the Krupnick Outstanding Community Service
Award in Chicago. Mr. Kelmer is qualified to conduct
examinations in Europe and the Middle East and has completed
specialized interview and interrogation training at a renowned
institute. Mr. Kelmer has consulted and provided services to
numerous Law Enforcement and Government agencies, NBC, the Oprah
Winfrey Show and WTMX-20/20. In addition, Mr. Kelmer is a
Federal Aviation Administration licensed Boeing 747 Airline
Transport and Instructor Pilot and has served as an FAA
appointed Aviation Safety Counselor.

Roy
Derby - Deputy Director
Mr. Derby was elected President of the Illinois Polygraph Society in 2006 by his fellow examiners. Mr. Derby holds a Master's Degree and is a graduate of the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Mr. Derby is a former Commander of a Major Crimes Task Force which consisted of 81 Detectives and currently conducts Forensic Polygraph Exams for the Task Force. Mr. Derby has 25 yeas of Law Enforcement experience with over 5,000 hours of formalized training in various aspects of criminal investigations and
was recently promoted from Commander to Deputy Chief at a Municipal Police Department. Mr. Derby is trained and qualified in Scientific Content Analysis and Linguistic Statement Analysis. In addition, Mr. Derby is an associate professor for a local university and is a graduate of Northwestern University's Police Staff and Command Program where he received the University's Executive Leadership Award.
